South Western Sydney Institute Wikispaces

This Wikispace is for the use of all South Western Sydney Institute staff. It is a place to collaborate and share teaching, learning and assessment resources and methods. It is also a place where you can have students interact and view learning materials online in a safe class-based environment.

Some parts of this wikispace require authorised log on - you will need to request access to the space organiser (if a student this would be your teacher) and you should use your first initial and surname for the username and an appropriate email (if you have a TAFE email use this account). Please read carefully all screen messages when applying and follow instructions carefully when responding to an email. If you are a student speak with your teacher who will guide you through the process, often problems occur when instructions are not followed carefully.

Wikispaces for SWSI teachers

South Western Sydney Institute, TAFE NSW - Wikispaces is organized into 'wikispaces' - each space you create is a self-contained wiki. To apply for a SWSI Wikispace please read the Terms of Use, which set out the relevent policies and procedures and then complete the SWSI Wiki Application Form (SWSI TAFE staff only). For further information, contact the Innovation and Technology Based Learning.

We ask that you please limit the pages in the main area of the website (i.e. this page) to content that is of interest to all South Western Sydney Institute, TAFE NSW.

Please note that unlike ordinary wikispaces we only use spaces that are:
  • Protected - Everyone can view pages, only members of this space can edit pages - can be used for section wikis or for promotional purposes
  • Private - You may instead require users to sign in - must be used for all Class Wikis and any wiki containing student details
